"Duke's Oceanfest"
Held around the time of Kahanamoku's birthday, on August 24th. and at the spot where he could be found back then-Kuhio Beach, Waikiki.
With a weeks long event of beach & ocean activities: volleyball, ocean swim, surfboard water polo, paddleboard racing, and other wave riding events that have been held since 2000.
